SeaWorld Orlando claims the title, Roller Coaster Capital of Orlando, with eight coasters from family friendly to world-first and record breaking. On Saturday, August 16th, SeaWorld invites thrill seekers to take on the National Roller Coaster Day Challenge, riding on all eight coasters in a single day. The first 2,000 to complete this challenge win bragging rights and a prize.
SeaWorld Orlando states, ” The first 2,000 guests will get a the exclusive ‘Ultimate Challenge’ lanyard to help track their progress along the way. Once guests complete the challenge they can receive a limited-edition 2025 National Roller Coaster Day Celebratory Poster.” This tracking lanyard can be picked up at a check-in table that will be setup near Guest Services at the entrance of the park.

National Roller Coaster Day offering for SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members
SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members get an additional offering, a behind-the-scenes roller coaster tour! The thrilling coaster, Kraken, is celebrating 25 years of inversions and dives at the park. Now, for free, SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members can get an up-close look at its operation.
SeaWorld Orlando says, “Pass Members can enjoy a special behind-the-scenes tour of Kraken, the legendary floorless coaster celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Tours will take place at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and include a rare insider look at the ride’s design, mechanics, and legacy. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the SkyTower Tour Desk.”
SeaWorld Orlando is still actively celebrating Summer. During this time guests can enjoy the Summer Spectacular with fireworks and a drone show, IGNITE, on select nights. This year’s version of IGNITE is jaw-dropping, by far the best nighttime spectacular that SeaWorld Orlando has ever achieved.
