Disney Springs is ready to welcome all the newlyweds, lovers and beginning relationships with limited time Valentine’s Day desserts at Gideon’s Bakehouse. For the month of February only, new and fan-favorite returning items have appeared at the famous Gideon’s. With lines to enter this bakery averaging over one hour, prepare to wait for a sweet treat – but trust us, it is worth it.
Gideon’s Bakehouse is located in The Landing area of Disney Springs. This small shop is known for its gothic victorian design and infamous long line. The cookies, almost half-a-pound each, are priced at $6. But, Gideon’s Bakehouse has more than just cookies. Those looking for a sweet treat can also get cold brews, cake slices, artwork and more.
Limited time Valentine’s Day desserts at Disney Springs
Strawberry Delight, Cookie – $6
Crafted with strawberry dough created with a house-made strawberry puree and mixed with dark chocolates. This cookie is sprinkled with strawberry infused sugar.
The Eternal Flame, Cookie – $6
A velvety five flavor chocolate cookie, adorned with house-made ancho, cayenne, and cinnamon spice mix, combined with cherry and topped with chocolate covered cherries.
Fire & Ice Coffee – $6
Be warned, spicy. This coffee is a mocha nitro cold brew, with a touch of heat. The spicy-meter was described as medium by Gideon’s employees. But, they do recommend the Strawberry Delight cookie to help cool off the tongue in-between sips (upselling with dessert, smart).
Strawberry Cream Cake – $9
Three layers of soft strawberry cake, strawberry buttercream, and chocolate ganache create this extra large cake slice. Made with natural ingredients, this cake can be bought every Sunday and Thursday – by the slice only.
Virtual Queue at Gideon’s Bakehouse
Depending on when you visit Disney Springs, there is a good chance that Gideon’s Bakehouse is using a virtual queue. The location is so famous that hundreds of people arrive to taste that month’s special flavor. Do not be afraid!
For those arriving earlier in the morning, you will most likely miss this virtual queue. For everyone else, make Gideon’s Bakehouse your first stop. A 2-3 hour queue is normal, but your phone does the work, not you. It is recommend that you go to Gideon’s Bakehouse first on your Disney Springs visit. Give your name and your phone number. You will be texted when it is your time to return.
While you wait, enjoy Disney Springs. Here you can shop, dine and enjoy the entertainment. It is normal for a complete visit at Disney Springs to last over three hours, so Gideon’s Bakehouse can be your finale stop. Be aware, there is a six cookie per-person limit. That is three pounds of cookie, though – plenty to share.
