Fun Spot America theme parks in Orlando, Kissimmee and Atlanta are all expanding in 2025 with new offerings. The newest is a North American record holder, the Up and Overboard. This thrill attraction has debuted at the Fun Spot America park in Kissimmee, FL and takes riders 60 feet up in the air for adrenaline and air time.

“Up and Overboard is an example of our ongoing commitment to continually enhance the guest experience at our parks,” said John Arie Jr., CEO of Fun Spot America Theme Parks. “Up and Overboard’s thrills include the feeling of weightlessness as guests swing through the air while reaching heights up to 60 feet in the sky. We’re all excited to open this ride just in time for Spring Break and watch our guests experience it again and again.”
The ride itself is both thrilling and yet calming. A smooth swing back-and-forth, offering wonderful views of the park. The attraction offers side-by-side seating, so friends and family can sit right next to each other. And, for those that love a stomach drop feeling or going upside down, that experience is waiting for you at the very top.
Up and Overboard takes 32 guests at a time aboard twin gondolas. The gondolas rotate both clockwise and counterclockwise simultaneously and then rise toward the sky. The full experience is all in the name, as the ride sends passengers soaring head over heels for an aerial experience. Manufactured by SBF-VISAGroup, Up and Overboard also features a vibrant light display.
Fun Spot America drone show
Earlier this month, Fun Spot America in Orlando debuted a one-night-only Americana drone show. While this was a single night experience, the Fun Spot team stated that it could lead to future entertainment offerings as the park continues to listen to its guests.
