Disney Parks have announced the opening date of World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland. This will be the largest “Frozen” themed land in the world, complete with shops, eateries and two attractions.
Michael Moriarty, managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, said: “World of Frozen is set to make its grand debut at Hong Kong Disneyland on November 20, marking an exciting milestone for the park’s expansion. This beloved franchise will elevate Hong Kong Disneyland’s global presence. We are excited to offer our guests an enchanting and immersive experience, where they can explore the captivating wonders of Arendelle.”
This land is based on properties from both “Frozen” and “Frozen 2,” both of which are some of the most successful Walt Disney Animation Studio films of all time. “Frozen” fever began in 2013 with the first film, and has since swept the world. You can find “Frozen” themed offerings at nearly every Disney destination.
Over at Shanghai Disneyland, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and all of the upcoming Zootopia land expansion was recently showcased. This land will open by the end of 2023 and include new themed snacks, animal character encounters and a major E-ticket attraction.
