House number six within a week has been announced by Halloween Horror Nights. Now, Triplets of Terror steps into the limelight as the next gory haunt experience for the 2024 season. This is the sixth original haunted house to be announced for Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando. If HHN follows tradition, there should be four more house announcements, two shows and five scare zones.
Halloween Horror Nights states, “You’re invited to the Barmy triplets’ birthday bash. But beware, they celebrate by recreating their family’s murders. Prepare for a gory gathering.” At this current rate of announcements, it appears that Universal may have one more original house to announce, the rest being based on intellectual properties.
In past years, Halloween Horror Nights has switched between three to five intellectual property offerings. Previous haunted houses include, “Beetlejuice,” “Ghostbusters,” “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare,” and “The Exorcist: Believer.” With the standard of 10 haunted houses, this leaves four final spots. But, as HHN has already broken their mold for haunted house reveals, we could potentially see more than 10 offerings.
Halloween Horror Nights has been on an announcement super-spree. Six haunted house announcements in under seven days is unheard of for this team. Major Sweets Candy Factory, a haunted house sequel to a 2022 scare zone, Sweet Revenge, will also debut this 2024 season.
