Support Cancer Research at Disney Springs with themed desserts

You can now visit Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and support cancer research for two non-profits, cookies for Kid’s Cancer and H.O.W. Hearing the Ovarian Whisper, by purchasing desserts during the month of September. Pizza Ponte and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew are both supporting meaningful causes and you can join them by purchasing a sweet treat.

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew | HOW Butterfly Donut

For the entirety of September, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, located in the West Side area of Disney Springs, will be selling the HOW Butterfly Donut. The Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew team will be selling these themed donuts all day, with proceeds from the sales going to benefit this nonprofit.

H.O.W. Hearing the Ovarian Whisper‘s mission statement is: Empower and support women in the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer through community-driven education, compassionate advocacy and support, accessible resources, and fostering hope. We advance progress by funding research and the training of future medical leaders to improve ovarian cancer outcomes.

Pizza Ponte | Cocoapizzie

Also for the entirety of September, Pizza Ponte, located in The Landing area of Disney Springs, will be selling their Cocoapizzie in support of cookies for Kid’s Cancer. This dark chocolate mashup is made from cookies and brownies and you can purchase a duo for $5.50. This treat isn’t limited to dessert time and can be purchased throughout the day.

cookies for Kid’s Cancer‘s mission statement is: Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a national 501(c)3 non-profit and is committed to raising funds for research to develop new, improved, and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer — the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S.

Disney Springs at Walt Disney World is one of the most visited shopping and dining districts in the world. These two companies have chosen to use their reach to speak on meaningful issues and I am happy to share their message. You can visit Disney Springs for free – no fee to park or for admission. These two locations, Pizza Ponte and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew are both easily accessible from the parking garages and do not require a reservation.

Get yourself a sweet treat, enjoy family time at Disney Springs and support meaningful causes all at once.
