Super Nintendo World is getting a snowy makeover at Universal Epic Universe, and the Joyful Holidays merchandise is already giving us a preview. A full display of Mario and Luigi snowman gear can be seen at Universal CityWalk. Universal’s holiday announcement shared that decor will appear in Super Nintendo World for the first time, part of Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort, which runs Nov. 14, 2026 through Jan. 3, 2027.
Universal Epic Universe is still new to the holiday season. When we first reported on Christmas decorations coming to Epic Universe last year, Celestial Park, Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic and How To Train Your Dragon were on the list. Now Super Nintendo World joins in with its own seasonal look! If you’re planning your Epic Universe day around the season, our guide to visiting Epic Universe without Express Passes covers the park itself.
Joyful Holidays Nintendo t-shirt and hoodie
The white-and-green raglan tee is $30. It features four themed panels, a Mario snowman, a Super Mushroom ornament, a Nintendo wreath and a Luigi snowman. The long sleeve, red hooded top is $65. On the back, Mario and Luigi snowmen flank a “Joyful Holidays” Christmas tree. As a personal preference, I am happy to see these don’t say “2026,” meaning these Nintendo fits can be used for multiple seasons.
Super Nintendo World at Universal Epic Universe has received some initial decorations, as shared by the Orlando Informer. We expect to see even more, much like guests enjoy at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan.
Mario snowman plush and slipper socks
The star of the wall is the Mario snowman plush. It wears Mario’s red ‘M’ cap and a red knit scarf, sold for $25. Hanging along the bottom of the display are Sherpa-cuffed holiday slipper socks for $30. The red-and-white knit is patterned with Super Mushrooms, Christmas trees, Super Stars and snowflakes.
Staying at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel? Universal offers Park-to-Hotel services to take your items right to your room so you don’t have to carry them around during your park stay. Park-to-Home is also an option, with shipments done via FedEx. Ask the Universal Team Members at select stores about this option.
Peppermint bars and Chocolate Mario Bros snowmen
The sweets come in Mario and Luigi snowman packaging and the peppermint bars are $10 each. The Green Mario option is the Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bar, while the Red Luigi sweet is the White Chocolatey Peppermint Bar. There’s also a $12 “Joyful Holidays” box of Solid Milk & White Chocolate Snowmen.
If you prefer savory over sweet, there is a delicious option not too far from Super Nintendo World in the How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk land, the Mac & Cheese cone. This viral sensation was one of the first food options at Universal Epic Universe to be shared online and after a few bites, it makes sense. I consider it a must-try during a visit to the Universal Epic Universe theme park.
