Less than one year in operation and Universal Epic Universe is already offering up seasonal decorations and new menu items. As the leader of innovative foodie options at the Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Epic Universe is once again showcasing the culinary options of this brand new theme park. The Discover Universal Blog, the official blog source of Universal Destinations & Experiences, had numerous new items to showcase.
Celestial Park is the food epicenter of the park, featuring both of the park’s sit-down meal options, The Atlantic and The Blue Dragon. Now, this central land is bringing seasonal food items to the menu, both for entrees and dessert options.

New options at The Atlantic
The Atlantic is the a fine dining seafood experience in the center of the park. With three floors of intricate, Victorian-era design, plush seating and views out towards the waterways of Celestial Park, this restaurant is a top choice at the Universal Orlando Resort. New items are joining the already strong lineup of menu options at this location:

Duck Breast
Duck breast, seared and seasoned with Chinese five-spice powder, served with a honey carrot puree, sweet thumbelina carrots, fungi jon mushrooms, and a side of apple lacquer.
Smoked Salmon Rillette
In-house smoked salmon, tossed in a yuzu aioli and served with salmon roe and chive coral on focaccia bread.

House Seasonal Salad
Seasonal salad, made with candy cane beets, watercress, honey-glazed pistachios, Florida citrus and goat cheese crema.
Surf & Turf
8 oz. premium, char-grilled Black Angus filet, served with Maine lobster mac & cheese and garnished with fine herbs.

Seafood Stew
Seafood stew, filled with seared diver scallops, mussels, jumbo shrimp, roasted marble potatoes, confit tomatoes, and a side of sauce rouille.

Desserts in Celestial Park
Two new dessert options have arrived elsewhere in Celestial Park, one at Frosty Moon and another at Celestial Snacks. If you are looking for dessert (or breakfast, I don’t judge) these two new items join a long list of sweet treats at the park.

Holiday Churro
A gingerbread churro with peppermint marshmallow topping and holiday sprinkles, garnished with a white chocolate Santa.
Chocolate Peppermint Soft Serve
A new ice cream flavor added to the line-up, peppermint-flavored ice cream with creamy chocolate mixed in.
Just a few weeks ago a new Mac & Cheese Cone flavor also debuted at the park, bringing Snoggletog to the How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk land. This viral treat was so popular upon the park’s opening that it began being sold in numerous spots in the land. It is savory, shareable and easy to enjoy while walking around the viking village.
There are A LOT of food and drink options at Universal Epic Universe. It would take numerous trips to try it all. For those visiting during this holiday season, keep an eye out for these limited time menu options (and let me know how it tastes).
