Ramen Chain, Kyuramen, launches lottery game for free menu items

Enjoy your food and take a chance on free menu items at the same time. Kyuramen has debuted a new ramen lottery game, with a possible winner at the bottom of every bowl. Customers nationwide have a chance to win food and drink items. All you have to do is buy a bowl and eat.

Hyuramen has 26 locations nationwide. They are on a mission to expand the company’s footprint, aiming to open 100 more locations by the end of 2024. Kyuramen specializes in crafted ramen, developed by expert ramen masters.

Kyuramen lottery bowls and their meanings

Customers can discover a prize by revealing a red stamp painted at the bottom of the ramen bowl after finishing their meal. The five types of red stamps and their meanings are:

  • Free: the customer wins a free bowl of ramen from the menu (any ramen except for the Yin-Yang Bowl).
  • Drink: the customer wins a free drink and can choose between a Thai Iced Tea or an Amazing Lemonade.
  • Dessert: the customer wins a free dessert and can choose between a Matcha Pudding or a Cherry Blossom Jelly.
  • Free Chicken: the customer wins a free Popcorn Chicken.
  • ありがとう: “Thank you, please try again next time.”

Kyuramen gift cards

The initiative comes with a new set of ramen bowls in white, red, and black colors, and prizes will appear randomly across the three colors of bowls. Winners will take home a corresponding gift card that can be redeemed next time they dine at the same Kyuramen store.

“This game adds an unexpected twist to customers’ dining experience, making it fun and exciting,” said Gary Lin, the founder and CEO of Kyuramen. “It represents our commitment to showing appreciation to our customers and continuously enriching their experience with us.”

New Kyuramen offerings

Alongside the Kyuramen lottery bowl game are some new flavor and meal options:

  • New Yin-Yang Bowl: allows customers to enjoy two signature flavors in one bowl.
  • Omurice: features fluffy eggs and specialized sauces (Demi Glace/Japanese Curry).
  • Honey Comb Platter: inspired by Kyuramen’s honeycomb seating, offering a variety of tasty bites.
  • New Appetizers and Ramen: #2 Katsuobushi Pork Ramen, Deep Fried Gyoza Dumplings, Chilled Tofu w/ Onion Dressing and Lobster & Chashu Salad Ball.
  • More upcoming dishes: Eel Kamameshi, Seafood Kamameshi and Matcha Tiramisu
