FIRST LOOK: New Disney Villains Show at Walt Disney World

The new Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show is about to debut, May 27th, at Walt Disney World. This large-scale production will be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, located near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. This new, original production is the first step in bringing more villains to Walt Disney World as a Villains Land is also on its way to the Magic Kingdom by 2030.

Disney describes this show as such, “In this immersive production, the Magic Mirror has summoned guests to help determine which Disney Villain has been treated most unfairly. Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent take the stage with show-stopping musical numbers, making their plea with humor, charm, and a touch of mischievous magic. As the story unfolds, dozens of infamous villains fight for their moment in the spotlight, leading to a delightfully wicked finale where the audience gets to make the final decision and answer the question, ‘Who’s been treated the unfairest of them all?'”

New Disney Villains musical

It is expected that this Disney Villains show will become popular very quickly. Thankfully, Disney is prepped for that, offering more than 10 shows a day for the foreseeable future. With an air conditioned building, seating and a show, this not only will make for fun production to watch, but a great break from Florida’s heat.

If you want to check showtimes in advance of your visit, head to the Walt Disney World website.

Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent

While many Disney Villains will be represented in this show (including rarely mentioned ones like Commander Lyle Tiberius Rourke, Professor Ratigan and Madam Mim), the three main characters are Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent. Characters will appear on screen and on stage for this musical production.

A stage built for big, villainous egos

This is no small show. Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is a large and “evil” takeover of the park. This stage production is replacing the former Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy show. As you can see in the image above, this show should offer more than enough room for guests, especially with is continual showtimes throughout the day.

You can enjoy Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After daily, starting May 27. This show is included with theme park admission and is meant for kids and adults of all ages. Guests utilizing wheelchairs and ECVs are welcome to stay in those chairs for the duration of the show.

More good news! For the first time since the 2020 pandemic closures, both Walt Disney World water parks are open. Now through Sept 7th, Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will both be open, each day (weather permitting).

Even better, guests staying at any of the Walt Disney World Resort owned hotels in 2025 will get free water park admission on check-in day. This is a great, relaxing way to start the family trip and it doesn’t cost a penny extra.
