DJ and Producer, Burak Yeter, will be heading to space for the first concert of its kind, a live DJ set in the sky. Located in the stratosphere, Burak Yeter will be 55,000 above the Earth, providing music to the entire world.
Burak Yeter will host the first live concert in space. His flying DJ stage will ascend to 55,000 feet above the Earth while live streaming music to the entire world. Tests and preparations are already underway to host music from above the planet for a one hour DJ set. Ascending towards the darkness of outer space, this musical performance is meant to show the entire human population how music can lift us up and connect us. Leaving from Barcelona, Spain, Burak Yeter’s performance will be streamed to over 30 television stations and shared online around the globe.
One Day In Space, concert hosted by Burak Yeter
Burak Yeter will host the One Day In Space concert. This mission will leave from Barcelona and head towards space for two hours before the one hour DJ set. A set date is not yet planned, but Burak Yeter and team say it is happening “soon.”
Burak Yeter has 1,100,000+ subscribers on YouTube and 5,400,000 followers on Instagram. His mission will be shared to those followers and beyond as social media and television stations will be able to connect in and share his music-based mission.
Space concert testing
In late 2022, a test mission was performed. 360º cameras were used to give viewers a full view of the Earth and never-ending sky above. 360º cameras will also be used for the manned mission. This flying DJ stage will reach a peak height of 55,000 feet. This is the maximum height for many large commercial aircraft and where weather balloons ascend to.
This mission will need to support human life, stay stable in varying conditions, offer strong signal to Earth for live stream and hold up the weight needed for all equipment. The skies will be cleared for Burak Yeter’s ascent as he brings the concept of music to the stars.
