While it seems counterintuitive to Florida, yes we do in fact get Florida Winters. No, we don’t expect snow or blizzards, but 35º Fahrenheit weather isn’t unheard of for the Central Florida area. In a state used to temperates in the low 90’s, even us Floridans escape to the heat sometimes. That brings us to the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Mexico. For Floridians looking to escape this winter, Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau is offering a discount code – up to 30% off.

Getting to Nassau from Florida
The Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau is described as such, “Nestled in the heart of Nassau, Bahamas, the resort is steps from top attractions like Junkanoo Beach and the Straw Market, with no rental car needed. Perfect for families and couples-alike, resort amenities and perks include picturesque ocean views in every room, studio to 4-bedroom options, an on-site water park and spa, and multiple on-site dining spots.”
Orlando and Miami both offer quick non-stop flights to Nassau, with BahamasAir being primarily the Bahamas top airline offer. From our research, a majority of roundtrip, non-stop flights from Central Florida were around $500. Ferries to Nassau depart from a few locations on the southeastern shores of Florida for a cheaper price. These ferries also offer the experience of slowing watching the water get bluer and clearer – meaning you have made it to the Bahamas.
