Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away has quite literally elevated entertainment at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World. In an unannounced update, Peter Pan and Wendy now fly and spin above their illuminated float. This surprise change was embraced by cheering crowds on Main Street U.S.A.
Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away is the first nighttime parade at Walt Disney World in nearly a decade. It originally debuted July 18, 2025 and has since had small updates, such as minor costume changes. But, the newest update can’t be missed. Wendy and Peter Pan now take off from their float platform, spinning and flying around. This colorful float now showcases the most iconic scene from the original Peter Pan (1953) film.

Fans at the park for this initial flying performance erupted in applause as this stunt maneuver was something many had expected from day one. After nearly a year of no change, some believed it was an effect that simply wouldn’t work out for this show. But, a bit of pixie dust has arrived and sent these two characters skyward. Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away goes through Magic Kingdom Park twice daily (weather permitting).
Each evening, the first show is usually packed as day guests get a spot for the parade and stay for the fireworks. But, for those willing to stay later into the night, calmer crowds may offer better viewing. Check Disney’s entertainment listings for daily showtimes.
