Walt Disney World DISCOUNT | Florida Resident ‘Discover Disney’

Florida Residents can take a multi-day visit to Walt Disney World for a major discount, starting Jan. 12 and continuing through May 16, 2026. 3 and 4 day ticket options, part of the “Discover Disney” package, are as low as $64 a day, with the option to upgrade to include water parks, golf and Disney Park Hopper. This deal offers a cheaper way to visit the parks as they prep to bring back updated attractions.

$64 tickets to Walt Disney World

These tickets are limited to just Florida Residents, with online or in-person verification required for ticket usage. But, for those Florida Residents, this is a great offer if you are looking to visit multiple Disney Parks. The 3 day ticket, after tax, is $250.28, while the 4 day ticket cost $271.58. These tickets are for one-park per day, but guests won’t be required to visit all four parks. For example, you can use two of the tickets at EPCOT, one to Magic Kingdom and one to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, skipping Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This is one of the best deals that Walt Disney World has offered since 2020, with the best deal probably being the Pixie Dust Annual Passes. For a single person, group or family looking for a Winter/Spring 2026 trip to Walt Disney World, this really is a good price. You can also combo that with Florida Resident hotel discounts. Living in the Sunshine State certainly gives you advantages to visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.

Ride closures and re-openings | Spring 2026 at Walt Disney World

This Discover Disney ticket also places potential visitors in a unique window, a time to say goodbye and hello to iconic Disney attractions. In early 2026 the park will be bringing back refurbished versions of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, both at Magic Kingdom. Later in 2026, we will see a new version of the animatronics at the Frozen Ever After attraction at EPCOT.

But these tickets also let you say goodbye. Select rides and restaurants will be closing down. The final half of DinoLand U.S.A. will be closing after February 1, alongside the iconic DINOSAUR attraction. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith will soon be transforming, no longer highlight Aerosmith and instead inviting in The Muppets. These Discover Disney tickets will let longtime fans say goodbye and first time visitors a chance to get a first look at longstanding offerings.

DO NOTE, these tickets will not include admission throughout the summer of 2026. So, while these Discover Disney tickets will get you on some rides, it won’t include every new options at the parks. These tickets will miss the windows for Soarin’ Over America, the Mandalorian & Grogu update to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and the official re-opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starting The Muppets, alongside some other upcoming offerings.

Yes, this is a good deal to visit Walt Disney World

If you are looking at all the options, and I get it, there is a LOT of options, packages and deals you could choose from when visiting Walt Disney World, this is a good one. It is limited to Florida Residents, it does have an end date of May 16, 2026 and it does not include parking. All that being said, it is still a good deal. $64 tickets to Magic Kingdom Park should be all you need to see to sell this. That is about 60% off of the regular pricing to visit the park. And, you can upgrade the tickets to fit your needs.

On top of the pricing, you can add on extras for a fee. The Walt Disney World website states:

  • Park Hopper Option – $40 More Per Ticket, Plus Tax
Visit more than one theme park on the same day.
  • Water Park and Sports Option – $35 More Per Ticket, Plus Tax
Visit one theme park per day. Plus, get a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course or miniature golf course based on the length of your ticket. For example, if you purchase a 4-Day Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket with the Water Park and Sports option, you can visit a Walt Disney World theme park on 4 days with an advance theme park reservation—and visit a Disney water park on 4 additional days by May 16, 2026.
  • Park Hopper Plus Option – $53 More Per Ticket, Plus Tax
Visit more than one theme park on the same day. Plus, get a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course or miniature golf course based on the length of your ticket. This option is a combination of the Park Hopper option and the Water Park and Sports option.

These add-ons allow you to maximize your visit to the park if you are a vacationer who likes to do it all. Plus, the pricing is per ticket, not per day, so the add-on fees are minimal. There are numerous ways to save money on vacation and for Florida Residents this Discover Disney ticket is a great option.
