Universal Kids Resort Early Preview tickets are $50, with these specialty tickets admission only being valid from June 24 to June 29, 2026. Universal Kids Resort states, “During this preview period, we’re putting the final touches in place and rehearsing, so some attractions and experiences may not be available.” The Universal Orlando Resort also offered a version of this early preview for Team Members, then Passholders and eventually the general public when it came to their Universal Epic Universe park.
What is Universal Kids Resort?
Universal Kids Resort will feature 7 lands and 1 themed hotel and is located in Frisco, Texas. While a new Universal theme park, this park is purposely not built at the immense scale of the Universal Orlando Resort or offers the all-ages thrills like Universal Studios Hollywood. This park is built for kids, from toddlers to pre-teens, with a focus on lower height requirements, water play area activities, character interactions and playgrounds.
The excitement for this park has already been quite strong, with the Silver Annual Passholder options already sold out ahead of the park opening. Universal Kids Resort will feature seven themed lands including DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar and the Isle of Curiosity.
