Universal Epic Universe has officially begun selling ticket packages and hotel room reservations – and they are (dare I say) reasonably priced. Opening week room sales at their flagship hotel for around $425 a night. Opening month ticket packages are around $151 per day (for 3 day deals). In the theme park world, this isn’t just below expectations, this is below rates compared to some of Universal’s competitors.

Opening weekend at Universal Epic Universe for less than Disney’s Deluxe Hotels
When comparing the exact same dates, you can stay at Universal’s new high-end hotel for less than or around the price of some competitors. When comparing rooms, Universal Helios Grand is asking for $474 a night on average, after tax.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort: $885
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort: $871
- Disney’s Riviera Resort: $587
- LEGOLAND Florida Hotel: $430 (breakfast included, suite style room)
- Gaylord Palms Resort: $335
As always, prices fluctuate each day. These prices will change again and again as the date gets closer. But for now, these prices can be locked in for fans wanting to stay as close as possible to Universal Epic Universe.

Ticket package sales and discounts
You can buy select ticket packages right now from Universal Orlando themselves. There are also 3rd party tickets sales, and some deals include discounts. Orlando Informer has numerous ticket packages offerings. But neither Universal nor 3rd party sales are currently offering single day tickets. Those will be sold at a later date.
The most common ticket package is a 3 Day Park Pass. That includes three days of theme park tickets, one of them being at Universal Epic Universe. For a family coming to Florida to do the entire Universal Orlando experience, this might be the best option – for now.
