Universal Epic Universe reveals May 22, 2025 theme park opening date

The official date has finally been revealed, the Universal Epic Universe opening date is May 22, 2025. This new Universal Orlando Resort theme park will stand alongside Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay. It is easy to say, Universal Epic Universe’s opening will be the theme park moment of the decade. This park and its impact on the themed entertainment world cannot be understated.

Universal Epic Universe tickets and hotel packages

Ticket package sales for Universal Epic Universe begin on October 22, 2024. This date will also mark the first day of hotel reservations sales for the Universal Helios Grand Hotel. Room reservation sales have already begun for Stella Nova and Terra Luna, the other two Universal Epic Universe hotel options.

Universal Orlando also now has a continually updating blog post for EYNTK (Everything You Need To Know) about Universal Epic Universe. While we don’t have all the details yet, Universal states, “Select multi-day tickets and packages will go on sale October 22.”

But, unlike what those clickbait articles you may have seen from other sites said, you WON’T be required to purchase a full vacation package to visit Universal Epic Universe. Yes, single day tickets will be sold. We spoke with FOX 35 Orlando on what Universal Epic Universe means for the “theme park wars” in Orlando.

One day (single visit) park ticket sales for Universal Epic Universe

Single day ticket sales begin on October 24, 2024 for Universal Annual Passholders. Universal has stated that everyone will have the chance to purchase single day tickets in the coming months. There isn’t a specific date set, but they mentioned single day tickets will be on sale before the Universal Epic Universe opening on May 22, 2025.
