New ticket and hotel packages are now for sale (for Florida Residents) for the upcoming Universal Epic Universe theme park. Single day ticket sales are still regulated to those with an annual or military pass – which surprises us. But a new option has debuted that is built for the ultimate Harry Potter fan: “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Exclusive Florida Resident Vacation Package with Universal Epic Universe” (yes it is a very long name).
There is no denying that the Universal Orlando Resort is a world class destination, and it is the king of the world for the Harry Potter fan looking for full immersion. This destination offers two lands, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, complete with a themed train to connect them, as well as seasonal entertainment and soon a new Butterbeer eatery at CityWalk. And thats before you even consider the massive new The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic themed land coming to Universal Epic Universe.
Harry Potter Ministry of Magic land at Universal Epic Universe
The Universal Orlando Resort will soon offer a trilogy of Harry Potter inspired stories: Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure and Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe. For the Harry Potter fan, the immersion and offerings can’t be beat. Upon the opening of Universal Epic Universe, this will mean that fans can ride five different attractions, try Butterbeer in forms such as a drink, candy or ice cream, and the storyline will range from the 1920’s in Paris to the early 2000’s in London.
Witches and Wizards can already “cast spells” at the existing two Harry Potter lands, and this will continue to grow with the opening of Universal Epic Universe. New shops and eateries will beckon in magic-wielding patrons.
Universal Epic Universe Harry Potter ticket & hotel package
While limited to Florida Residents (but perhaps one day for anyone), there is a unique hotel and ticket package option for the Universal Orlando Resort – and it includes the new Universal Epic Universe theme park. This package includes early park admission, even at Universal Epic Universe, as well as Harry Potter themed breakfasts, dessert and a photo studio package. This Harry Potter vacation package will get you admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Epic Universe and it will include:
- Special Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Flight: located in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida. This ice cream flight features four flavors of a guest’s choosing and one Honeydukes Cooler Tote.
- Breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron: located in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida. Limited to one breakfast per guest on the reservation.
- Breakfast at Café L’air De La Sirène: located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe. Limited to one breakfast per guest on the reservation.
- One Shutterbutton’s Photography Studio session: located in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida.
This package ranges in price depending on the chosen dates, hotel and amount of guests. You can read the full terms and check pricing on the Universal Orlando Resort website. Universal does state that this package can save you up to $200.

This upcoming theme park will offer so much more than Harry Potter (but the new land does seem quite magical). This brand new Orlando based park will offer five themed lands, four thrilling coasters and three new places to stay at the Universal Orlando Resort.
