Tom used this opportunity to try a Floridian staple, the Pub Sub. If you don’t know, the Pub Sub has a near cult following, with some social media accounts dedicated to tracking when it goes on sale. Floridians welcome in this marvelous actor as he takes a rite of passage.

Tom is seen eating the Chicken Tender Sub, and I agree with him, it needs more buffalo sauce. It also looks like he chose to have it without the tomato or lettuce, but not every inch of the sandwich can be seen. This sandwich can be made with four different types of bread or in two versions of a salad. Of all the Pub Sub varieties, the Chicken Tender Sub is consistently the winner among fans.
After a bite, Tom states that the Kingston Golden Pils would be his top recommendation to pair with the sandwich. His overall sandwich rating was an 8/10, but with the right amount of sauce I think that could bump up to a 9 or higher. Now the real questions, what would each of the Avengers gets for their order. And yes, Publix does have options for shawarma.
