From the chilly waters of the arctic comes the next SeaWorld Orlando attraction, a world-first Arctic Flying Theater. SeaWorld Orlando claims this new attraction opens spring of 2025. This builds off the success of their last ice-based adventure, Penguin Trek, a family coaster that opened summer of 2024.
SeaWorld Orlando hasn’t given a ton of details yet, but they sent out a teaser video showcasing a cinema grade drone flying over the icy peaks and waters of the arctic. This ride will have a height requirement of 39 inches, allowing more families with younger kids to ride.
From SeaWorld Orlando to the Arctic
According to SeaWorld Orlando, “Riders will embark on this 4:30 minute journey within one of two of the attraction’s immersive multi-level theaters, each accommodating 30 guests. They will experience the Arctic as if they were truly there, witnessing jaw-dropping visuals both in the air and underwater, including the stunning Aurora Borealis and remote, untouched areas of the Arctic.”
SeaWorld is working to showcase part of the arctic that we don’t think about – lush green landscapes and seas filled with life. Alongside views of the snowcapped peaks, guests will also get to go to the upper atmosphere and underwater on this virtual journey.

By bringing the wonders of the Arctic to life, we are offering guests an unparalleled and immersive experience that will create lasting memories for people of all ages.”
