LEGOLAND Florida brings back NINJAGO themed weekends

Ninjas have returned to LEGOLAND Florida for a limited time, and they brought LEGO building, dance parties, a stunt show and themed food with them. This annual event for the resort, which is included with theme park admission, has a focus on anyone and everyone learning to become a LEGO Ninja. Here’s Everything You Need To Know about this limited time event.

This video is from the 2024 version of the show, which is nearly identical to this year’s show.

NINJAGO shows for all ages

Hi-yah! From a stunt filled show to a yoga-style interactive session or even a dance party, kids and adults can join along in NINJAGO style moments throughout the park. Guests can participate in:

  • Whip Around Dance Party, to get your best moves out with high energy music
  • School of Spinjitzu, a yoga style retreat where kids and adults are guided in balancing and poses
  • NINJAGO: Masters of the 4th Dimension, a 4-D movie at the Fun Town Theater with special effects
  • Lloyd’s Elemental Challenge, a show packed with performers, stunts and pyrotechnics (see video above)
  • Ninjas Unite Celebration, a moment to end your day of Ninja Training in one final ceremony

Most of these shows have plenty of capacity, so while you don’t want to be late, you shouldn’t need to queue up more than 10 minutes in advance. Take the extra time to enjoy a walk in the park, ride a ride, grab a food item, play with LEGO or explore Miniland U.S.A.

LEGOLAND Ninjago Characters

LEGO NINJAGO character meet & greets

LEGO characters are always up for a hug or high-five, and during these weekends they are also up for teaching the best ninja moves as your young warriors learn to master the elements. This may be odd to say, but LEGO characters have the perfect “squish” for a hug. While their smaller, toy counterparts are hard plastic, the large-as-life characters are built for hugs.

Characters (NINJAGO themed and everyday meet & greet options) are scattered throughout the park. It is best to visit the LEGOLAND app for exact details and visitation times.

LEGO NINJAGO themed food items for 2025
The 2025 slate of LEGO NINJAGO themed food items. The only thing we would change is allowing guests to buy the themed Apple Fries without a special, collectible cup for a lower fee.

Themed Ninja food

If you have followed EYNTK.info for a while, you will know that we are obsessed with LEGOLAND’s Apple Fries. And with each new season comes a new set of Apple Fries flavors. This time? Mango Master Apple Fries! This event has 3 total limited time flavors available:

  • Warrior’s BBQ Bun: $18
  • Samurai Sliced Chicken Bowl: $17
  • Mango Master Apple Fries: $18

These items’ locations can all be found via the paper maps or the digital LEGOLAND app. Is this the cheapest food in the park? No it is not. But I have said it before and I will say it again, LEGOLAND makes very, very good limited time food items. Sometimes wild, but almost always super tasty. They have really nailed the themed quick service options.

LEGO NINJAGO suites on property

Even the best trained ninjas need some rest, and that is possible at the LEGOLAND Florida Hotel. This hotel, which is mere steps away from the front entrance, has different types of rooms and themed suites. Families can choose to stay in a room themed to:

  • LEGO DUPLO
  • The LEGO Movie
  • LEGO NINJAGO
  • LEGO Friends
  • Pirate
  • Adventure
  • Kingdom

The room layouts are the same, but the specific themes can be tailored to your vacation – for these sets of LEGO NINJAGO Weekends, there is a room just for the occasion. And, there is also an elevator meant to party in.

And of course, LEGO building activities

To visit a LEGOLAND park and not play with some LEGO is missing the point. LEGOLAND Florida provides with many, many themed LEGO build areas. Some even allow visitors (kids and adults) to be part of a team to build a dragon.

LEGO Ninjago Dragon Build

While just the beginning, we did get to see the group efforts to get the base of this dragon started. With enough work, and LEGO builder support, this dragon will stand at 8 feet tall.

Alongside the NINJAGO themed builds, there are also numerous indoor areas for building around LEGOLAND. One of the newest areas is the LEGO Ferrari Build & Race center. Activity areas allow LEGO builders of all ages and skill levels to create whatever they can imagine (as long as that idea is made of plastic).

$10 a month annual passes

For a limited time, LEGOLAND Florida is selling annual passes for $10 a month, with an initial $30 down payment, for Florida residents. If you aren’t a resident, you can still save, you just have to pay all at once for $149.

My personal advice for those looking for affordable options is to get whichever adult will visit the park the most a Silver Pass. This pass includes parking, which will save you lots of money in the long run. Then, get the other adults and the kids the Bronze Pass for the $10 a month fee. This way you know you can visit a majority of the year (some blockout days do apply), and still not worry about an upfront parking fee on each arrival.

For those LEGO Superfans, you can also get the $349 pass with unlimited admission to 30+ Merlin Attractions in the United States, including LEGOLAND New York and LEGOLAND California, as well as Sea Life Aquariums and the Orlando Eye.
