The LEGO Festival returns to LEGOLAND Florida on July 20th, offering returning and new experiences in the park. This included-with-admission event will bring two new options for 2026, an F1 and Pokémon area. This event lasts from July 20 to August 16 and will feature five interactive zones: Music, Creative and Chill-Out alongside the brand-new Thrill and Play Zone.
LEGOLAND Florida shares, “The Play Zone will offer kids and adults alike the chance to bring their Pokémon Trainer dreams to life, in the real world. Pokémon fans can level up their skills through a hands-on training journey – bonding with, nurturing, and training a selection of five Pokémon, to take on the most epic brick-built battles.” LEGOLAND also spoke on the F1 experience, “Taking center stage in the new Thrill Zone, the LEGO F1 experience will bring the buzz of a F1 Race Day to life with a full-throttle lineup of high-energy moments, hands-on racing builds, family pit crew challenges and surprise character appearances.”

LEGO Pokémon experience
LEGO Pokémon SMART Play sets will debut in August in stores worldwide, but fans visiting LEGOLAND Florida get a first look at this new type of Pokémon toy. Seen in the video above, I was able to experience the new Star Wars SMART Play sets, which use audio and lighting effects to enhance the LEGO play. Fans visiting the LEGO Festival will use these new, interactive sets to “nurture, train and battle with their Pokémon in the LEGO Pokémon: Trainer Center.”
LEGO F1 experience
The LEGO Ferrari Experience is offered each day at LEGOLAND Florida, but the LEGO Festival is bringing a limited time F1 offering as well. Families will race against the clock to complete a pit stop tire change in the Brick Stop Challenge. working together to test their teamwork as an official pit crew around a LEGO F1 car. Guests can also enjoy some music with the Pit Lane Hype show, “where motorsport meets rhythm in a lively, drum-fueled performance.”
Last year, LEGO Fortnite debuted in the park, offering fans a new way to interact with this world-famous video game. As the LEGOLAND Festival event returns, we see F-1 and Pokémon take the stage this time. Who knows what could appear next year…?
