“Disney Dreams That Soar” will be an all-new summertime drone experience – offered for free to all Disney Springs guests. In 2016, Disney had a limited time holiday drone show. Now, this new nighttime spectacular will debut May 24, 2024.
At Disney Springs, drones take to the skies above Lake Buena Vista. This will be a free late-night perk for visitors. This show will feature Disney stories with state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky. Paired with a soaring musical score and iconic Disney movie quotes, this new offering will illuminate the sky. Flying above Disney Springs West Side, “Disney Dreams That Soar” will run nightly from May 24 through Sept. 2, 2024.
Over at Disneyland Paris, Disney has already showcased some truly incredible drone technology. The Disney Electrical Sky Parade shows off what Disney storytelling and Dronisos can create. Now, Disney Springs will be implementing similar tech for this new free Disney Springs drone show offering.
At Disney Springs, this show will take place over Lake Buena Vista, with some of the drone animations being larger than Spaceship Earth at Epcot (the golf ball looking structure). These 800 drones will fill the sky with incredible visuals from Disney, Pixar and Star Wars films.

According to Disney Springs, this show will debut at 9:00 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. on Fri. March 24, 2024. You can check on the exact times for each night at the Disney Springs “Disney Dreams That Soar” entertainment page. Due note, this is an outdoor offering in Florida. Weather can be very volatile in this state, causing shows to be delayed or even canceled for the day. Rain, lighting and high winds can all affect this show and its ability to perform.

can I bring my own chair?
That is a very good question. There are seating options near the water front, but not a TON of them. According to the Walt Disney World website, “Folding chairs are not allowed in any theme park, water park, or at Disney Springs.”
