The Mickey Waffle is an iconic meal at Disney Parks. But, it has a rare-form that Disney Cruise Line fans are always raving about. That is the Mickey-shaped Churro Waffles. While available at the all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant, Crystal Palace, at Magic Kingdom, the average waffle fan wasn’t lining up for a $54 breakfast buffet to taste test this version. But now, an $8 version was found by WrightDownMainStreet, a Disney Foodie account. I followed the steps, found the waffle and have learned the general public was 100% correct.
Mickey-shaped Churro Waffles at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Sold during breakfast hours at the Spyglass Grill at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, these waffles are worth the Disney Skyliner trip to taste test. Starting at $7.99 for a kids meal (great for those anyone less hungry or just looking for a dessert) or in an adult portion for $11.49, this breakfast item stands up to the hype.
While these cinnamon coated treats are most famous for their appearances on the Disney Cruise Line, they now have an easily accessible home at Walt Disney World. During my visit nearly every single person in line ordered at least one set of these waffles in their total meal purchase. After my very first bite, I understood.
Mobile Order options
This breakfast-only option can be bought in person or ordered on the My Disney Experience app for mobile ordering. Either way, expect a short wait as the Spyglass Grill is a go-to spot for hotel guests at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. If you aren’t staying at this resort, it can be accessed by parking at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, riding the Disney Skyliner to the resort and walking about five minutes over to the eatery.
What is included in the Mickey Churro Waffle?
For $7.99, you get two Mickey-shaped Churro Waffles with two sides and a drink. For $11.49, you get three Mickey-shaped Churro Waffles with bacon and sausage. The kids meal option comes default with mandarin oranges and apple sauce, but can be swapped out for bacon and sausage, as seen above.
Important to know, while Mickey Waffles can be made gluten-free at select locations around Walt Disney World, this specific spot is unable to offer the Mickey Churro Waffles gluten free. Some dietary accommodations can be made for the sides and drinks, but the waffle themselves are available as-is.
